Munsoo Kwon Fall/Winter 2014

Munsoo Kwon Fall/Winter 2014

After paying his dues, and learning from highly recognized designers Robert Geller, Helmut Lang, Thom Browne, and Andrew Buckle, it seems that Munsoo Kwon has settled in nicely being king of his own domain.  Although a streetwear designer, Kwon's vision was to produce modern, nicely structured pieces that are more practical, and we have more longevity, instead of the one or two seasoned trends normally associated with streetwear.

Now in his 2nd year of being head of his own brand, Munsoo recently took his F/W 2014 collection to the runways. Inspired by
W. Eugene Smith’s photo ‘The Walk to Paradise Garden’ the designers overall feel for his collection was HOPE.

Over sized jackets, slim fitting brushed cotton cargo pants, and loose cut trousers rang through as the collections key
  silhouettes.
