DRESSCAMP 2015
It's almost impossible for us to be knowledgeable of every designer that walks the planet, but when we come across one that sparks our interest, we do our best to share them with our readers. During a transition of seasons, we first learned about Japanese designer Toshikazu Iwaya. Images of his F/W 2014 DRESSCAMP collection sporadically popped up on our screen in the midst of research. Making a mental note, we decided to learn more at a later time.
Toshikazu Iwaya to our surprise has been at it for over a decade now. In fact, his debut collection was presented at Toyko Collections in S/S 2003. Bold, colorful, and quirky, Dresscamp is known for its fun attention grabbing pieces. Though influences of various eras of time are apparent, the overall feel is very forward and youthful.
