No matter where you were born, there comes a time in all of our lives when we see or experience something magical. Sometimes the moment is so great, we find ourselves influenced by it in some way. We aspire to be something or someone similar, or adopt it into a part of our lives but make it our own.
Currently the world has noticed a movement in South African youth that caused us to stop and perk our ears up a bit more. An area that takes pride in culture, history, and heritage, South Africa should be preparing for new and interesting uprising.
Music, Social Media, Reality Shows, have all been major factors in this current shakeup. And South African youth want in on it. One extremely noticeable change has been the current state of fashion. Studies show that both the youth as well as young adults have been spending more money on clothes. Taking hints from Euro and Western fashion, the youth have created their own style. And South African designer Nao Serati
has decided to celebrate the movement in his F/W16 collection.
