Making the decision to pack up his life in Bushwich (Brooklyn) to lay down new foundations in Manhattan, we first hear about designer Tarpley Brooks Jones’ journey through a YouTube post that he uploaded in May 2023.
Excited about his brand picking up representation at Rep NYC, currently one of the hottest showrooms in town, we expect the brand to do well and get the exposure that it properly deserves.
Having the opportunity to show his creations in LA, Berlin, and Mexico. City, it is now time for the Tarpley brand to be shown at New York Fashion Week.
Hosted by Agentry PR, Tarpley would be one of the specially selected brands that would be on full display during the second half on Men’s Day at a venue located on W31st Street.
Inspired by two of FFM’s favorite brands, Helmut Lang and Yohji Yamamoto, the designer would express an abundance of glee sharing to his viewers that his collection would be showing on the same day as one of his idols (Lang).
Sustainability and being Environmentally conscious, are wonderful attributes that the brand possesses. Innovative materials such as apple leather, abaca leaf, bio nylons and linens, have been incorporated into many of the pieces.
