ASHTON MICHAEL RETURNS TO NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Although he was gone from the runways of New York for 8  years, that doesn't mean that Ashton Michael wasn't busy.  Designer/Stylist to many stars including, Chris Brown, Usher, Will.I.AM, and many others, I am actually surprised he had time to produce a collection.  But he did...

I had no idea what to expect as the line in front of the Pavillion grew.  Obviously in the show,  Rico Genest(Zombie Boy)arrives, and caused me to grow more excited as I tried to analyze what Ashton's 

 Black Heart Collection would deliver. 

Genderless, Post Apocalyptic, Structured and Strong, the black, white, and nude collection was made up of wools, leathers, and hand dyed denim.  To add to the showcasing of these amazing garments were a whose who of models.  All varying in size were Daniel Bamdad, Lawson Taylor, Jonte, Joey Camasta, Diandra Forrest, and Shaun D Ross, and many others.  Obviously not resembling one another in any way,if so, very little, the models added a hint of extra spice to the show.   Ashton's collection showed a sort of unity, and also proved that clientele with diverse tastes and body types can wear his creations.  Making it more relatable to the public.  

I thought the show was SUPERB!!!.
