THE FACE TO WATCH: BENJAMIN DUKHAN

For most of us, we owe a gratitude of thanks to Gaultier for introducing to this handsome bearded man. For his S/S 2011 Collection, the designer mad the decision to have a fresh off the streets newcomer open his show.  It was an open casting, and Benjamin decided to go.  The rest you can say is history.
Tall, dark and mysterious, Dukhan's look wasn't considered the norm at the time when it came to Paris fashions. That's what made it so great.  There is another side to this however.  After spending an ample amount of time researching Benjamin, I discover how interesting he really is. Recently he walked
in the shows for Watanabe and Yamamoto, and has done a number of editorials.  Probably one of the more recognized bearded men in fashion Benjamin takes slight issue being known as a model.  At least he doesn't label himself as one.  Possibly because his passion lies elsewhere.  Namely, dancing and performance art.

When he isn't on a runway, or in front of a camera, Benjamin is most likely writing songs, in the studio laying down tracks, or performing as his often times raunchy alter ego Burger Girl.  Hailing from an "electro-bitch universe" the performer has a number of tunes already available for people to hear, including my favorites Talk To My A$$gency and Kiss Lamour.
