A NEW YEAR A NEW SAGA
FASHION FORWARD MEN SENDS CONGRATS TO ITS CREATOR RUDY REED
One of the main purposes of starting this site in 2009 was to shine a spotlight of sorts on the not so conventional side of fashion. Since day one, Fashion Forward Men took pride in sharing with its readers the innovative creations of McQueen, Galliano,Gautier, and Thom Browne. It was a place for the bolder, darker, and sometimes more eccentric souls to come to unite with others who saw the world through the same lenses as them.
Shortly after our launch, Rudy realized that throwing around names of already established talents
wasn't enough for us. It was quickly becoming too fantasy. Not every reader is able to drop top dollars on the creme de la creme. So with that, we decided to search for the cool, emerging designers who were able to satisfy our closets needs, without hurting our wallets (as much).
With clothes covered and out the way, it was time to get into the belly of the industry. Those highly priced magazines you buy because of the pretty pictures tell more stories than you know. And as a stylist, Rudy knows that all these back stories are happy stories. But you will never read about his. Instead, he leaves that up to the featured photographers, designers, models, and creative directors to spill during our exclusive interviews with them.
Well, the new year is here, and with a new year brings new change. And for our main man in charge, doors of the unknown have began to open. Rudy has gone back to his roots of styling women's wear. And just in case you're wondering... No, he isn't going anywhere!!! We did want to take time to acknowledge his new ventures and to also share them with you.
