Joseph Turvey FallWinter 2015 Lookbook
Being a newcomer to an industry filled with more experienced and equally as talented individuals, one has to be prepared for battle to have their voice heard. Emerging British designer Joseph Turvey seems to be ready for such a fight. Only coming out of school a couple of years ago, Turvey's point of view has create a bit of buzz.
Utilizing his talents, Turvey has become known for using his own hand drawn images to create prints and patterns. Recognized as a sportswear designer, what sets Joseph apart from others is his use of
unexpected textiles into his creations.
For his A/W 2015 Collection, his love of darkness, horror, and cult culture shine through. Inspired by Clive Barker's movie Nightbreed, Turvey manipulates silks and embroidered fabrics to be more masculine, athletic, but keeping a hint of flash.
