Only after being in Iraq for two weeks, Minsky was hit by a bomb, causing a number of injuries. He lost one of his limbs, had his jaw to break in five pieces, and damage to his skull. Extensive reconstructive reform had to be done. Recently appearing on The View, Minsky shares with the ladies that he fell into a very dark place during his recovery. Realizing that his solutions didn't rest in the bottom of a bottle, Alex made the decision to turn his life around.
