TERRANCE NICHOLS

Latest Fashion Forward-It Guy Terrance Nichols happens to be a good acquaintance of mine.  It goes without saying that he is a beautiful man.  The sometimes shy, sometimes very  flirtatious model happens to be quite intelligent as well.  In this piece, you will see that he is a driven individual, and also has a knack 

for speaking his mind.

 

Born in Chattanooga, TN, Nichols relocated to Atlanta seeking a better life for himself.  The aspiring entertainer felt that stepping out of his comfort zone would be a good thing.  Very understandable, being that his hometown offers very little if any possibilities of networking for his desired field of work.  

  I applaud any man or woman who realizes that the entertainment industry can be very fickle.  Not only is it an industry of "who you know," but it can also be an industry where you have to be at the right place at the right time, and even still, things are not always guaranteed.  While living in Atlanta, I can appreciate that Terrance continued his education.  Not solely relying on his looks, he attended and graduated from Georgia State University, obtaining Bachelor degrees in Managerial Sciences and Economics. 

Although Nichols may not currently be utilizing all of his educational accomplishments, he has found a way of assisting others.  Looking at Terrance, it is quite obvious that he has a killer physique.  He works out 4-5 days a week, and instead of walking around thinking he is gods gift to the world, he chooses to train others in his spare time in efforts of  helping them better define their own bodies. 

Like many others before him, Nichols is using modeling as a gateway to open more doors for him to break onto the big screen.  Although admitting that he loves his smile and his nicely sculpted chest, he realizes that he is not perfect, and it will take more than that to build a career.  Most agencies perfer models to be a particular height before they even consider representing you, and being that he doesn't quite fit into this criteria, he confesses that it causes a bit of a struggle.   The constant being rejected or being told "NO" would leave anyone insecure about themselves, no matter what their goals are.  For Terrance, this has resulted in him becoming a little more fearful and tending to procrastinate a tad bit more(something that I have encountered with him first hand).  But this is what I love about Terrance.  He is aware of his flaws/short comings, and doesn't allow them to stop him. 

Determined not be deterred by the harsh criticisms of an image based field, Terrance Nichols has been able to keep his head above water.  Working with some of the most talented, artistic, on the rise photographers as well as receiving a few scripts, this Fashion Forward-It Guy is certaining breaking down the obstacles that he faces.
